And now for something a “little” different! Five fresh new plays, ranging from 10–55 minutes, all fully-staged and designed. Celebrate a stacked evening of Vashon theatrical talent, both on and off the stage!

I Can’t Go Home by Vashon playwright Jennifer Dice, directed by Steven Sterne.
“What’s it like to live in a strange, old song.” This is a dreamlike hero’s journey, featuring live acoustic string music. 30 minutes long. Cast: Kat Eggleston, Kenny Alton, Susan Lewis, Gretta Stimson, Brooke Osment.
“Biter” by Seattle playwright Kelleen Conway Blanchard, directed by Samantha Sherman.
A modern gothic story. 2 mothers watch their children play on the playground. One of them has a large purse, the other has ugly shoes. Cast: Kaycie Alanis, Amy Broomhall. 10 minutes.
“Seven Down” by Seattle playwrighting team Mariah Lee Squires and SW Jones, directed by Janet McAlpin.
Izzy has to get to work at the Stop The World From Blowing Up factory. Grandma needs one more word to finish the crossword puzzle. And the goldfish has supernatural powers. Cast: Maya Krah, Sierra Tinhof, Amy Broomhall, Kaycie Alanis, Brooke Osment. 15 minutes.

A domestic scene set at an ironing board. Would you do your ex’s laundry after they have left you? Cast: Erika Strandberg, Mike Wishkoski. 10 minutes.
“Burlap” by Lisa Peretti, directed by Lisa Peretti
A thriller set on a barn on Vashon Island in 1955. Cast: Brian Palermo, Phoebe Borroughs, Mila Johnson, Mateo Grey. 35 minutes.
